Faisal Sakhi Butt is a graduate from the renowned Harpers Adams University College - UK. He joined his father’s business in 1990 and took up the legacy of his late father who had established the business in 1956. The company’s core business was Construction and Real Estate development. Mr. Faisal’s vision and hard work led to the diversification of the company into various other businesses which includes; Hotels, Hospitality, Healthcare & Education

From the very beginning of his career, he had strong desire to engage himself into Social, Public and business affairs of the residents of Islamabad. Mr. Faisal is also ranked amongst crème de la crème of the country. He enjoys overarching cordial relations across institutional, diplomatic, political, business and media circles. Mr. Faisal was elected as the Executive Committee Member of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry twice. From 1990 to 1993 & from 1996 to 1999. As the incumbent office bearer Faisal’s contributions were regarded in high esteem by the business community.

After gaining sufficient experience in dealing with issues of business, community in general and Public affairs at large, he then stepped into the field of Public Politics by becoming a member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). The Prime Minister of Pakistan appointed Mr. Faisal Sakhi Butt as the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Task Force on Islamabad from 2008 to 2012 and Chief Coordinator of the Prime Minister on Islamabad from 2012 to 2013. During this term, he accompanied the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan on several International official visits which included, China, Russia, Egypt, Turkey and the UK. On these visit’s Mr. Faisal was able to promote the capital city of Islamabad as a model city and signed several MOU’s with total worth US$ 1.5. Billion for various projects for the uplift of Islamabad.

His contributions are self-evident at every nook and corner of the capital. Besides his sophisticated, statesman and business contributions – Faisal is also placed in the highest ranks of the hall of fame of Pakistan and particularly in the city of Islamabad. He was been made the honorary administrator of the Islamabad’s most prestigious and Pakistan’s first platinum standard sport and recreational club known as the Gun and Country Club, Islamabad. The club offers state of the art skeet and shooting ranges both outdoor and indoor besides offering the most contemporary fitness, sport, recreational facilities.

This era of (5) five years is considered and recognized as the golden periods for the development and uplift of the capital city of Islamabad. His dedication and commitment were duly appreciated and valued by the Party, who then nominated him to contest in the General Elections from the National Assembly Seat of Islamabad NA-48 on the Pakistan People’s Party Ticket. His performance and commitment to the party and politics was well noted by the PPP Chairman who than nominated him as President of the Pakistan People’s Party, Islamabad.

Mr. Faisal Sakhi Butt and his highly revered family - the tradition of excellence have not merely been carried forward. It has been upheld, augmented and taken to higher levels of esteem. He continues to focus on the regional and global dynamics of business to continue contributing to people, society, institutions, their country and the global human community.

At the heart of economic upsurge of Mikarna Inc; lies a human desire of contributing to the society. Faisal Sakhi Butt has been a passionate and persistent philanthropist, pursuing initiative for the well-being of marginalized people, both in institutional and individual capacities.

Faisal has continued the legacy of Sir Sakhi Butt most responsibly and compassionately patronizing Muhammad Khan Memorial Trust Hospital, named after his late Grand father in district Gujrat of Pakistan. After the death of Sir Sakhi Butt, Mr. Faisal S. Butt assumed the responsibility of being a chairman of the board of governors of the trust, Mr Faisal Sakhi Butt successfully maintains the tradition of delivering free healthcare services and medicines to the deserving patients at the hospital.

Education and minority rights are also key areas of Mr Faisal’s interest for extending all possible assistance. Recently, 250 Christian families residing in the slums of Islamabad were provided with school kits for child education.
